How to get started

1. Refer to your Customer Reference Number (CRN)

You'll need your full 10-digit CRN (including any leading zeros) to register and log into the new Online Banking platform.

Note: Business Online Banking Userswill use their personal CRN 

2. Register for Online Banking

You’ll need to complete a quick registration before you first log into Online Banking. For support, see our registration guides and videos.

3. Enjoy the new Online Banking experience

The new Online Banking experience is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. If you need some help getting started, there are a number of User Guides available to assist.

Important Information for Business Customers 

With the launch of our new Online Banking, there are a number of key updates to the way business customers manage their banking online. 

User access 

If you are an Account Owner or Authorised Signatory for business accounts, to add, modify or remove nominated user access, update your account mode of operation, or manage any other Online Banking settings, please contact us. 

Security codes & authorisation 

If you currently use the Bank of Sydney DigiToken App to authorise transactions, this is no longer required. Security Codes will now be sent to you via SMS and the DigiToken app can be removed from your device. 

Xero integration 

An enhanced Xero daily transaction integration and online management is now available via Bank of Sydney’s Internet Banking. If you previously had Xero connected to your accounts, to continue receiving your bank transactions in Xero, you will need to set up a new connection in Internet Banking. For more information, click here.

Mobile Banking

Please note that all features are available via Internet Banking. However features such as ABA File Payments, Multi-entry transactions and Xero Integration are not available via the Bank of Sydney Mobile Banking App.
