Key Features
Easy access with a physical and/or digital Visa Debit Card
Greater protection for online purchases with Verified by Visa
Withdraw cash overseas with no ATM fees
Available to personal or business transaction accounts^
Using your physical Visa Debit card
With your physical Visa Debit card you are able to simply tap your Visa Debit Card against a contactless reader to pay for a purchase via payWave. Note that for your physical card security, there is a transaction limit of $100, and a daily limit of $300 for payWave transactions.
You are also able to use your PIN or swipe your card on the reader to make larger payments.
Benefits of a digital wallet
It’s quick and easy to connect your Visa Debit Card to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay, for instant access and enhanced security. These payments are made via your smartphone or a wearable (such as an Apple or Samsung watch). They have an added level of security because they may be authenticated via biometrics (face ID or fingerprint scan), or your phone’s PIN.
Depending on the merchant and transaction value, a PIN may be required at the terminal at times.
Due to added security there are no daily payWave limits on digital wallet payments.
Travel with Convenient Access to Your Money
Traveling overseas with your Visa Debit Card is easy and convenient. You can make purchases abroad—both in-store and online—with ease. Plus, enjoy no overseas ATM fees, so you can conveniently access your cash anytime, anywhere.
Just remember, foreign transaction fees may apply.¹
