How to Apply:

  • It's easy to apply online in as little as 5 minutes
  • Once your details have been successfully verified, your account will be opened so you can start saving.

You can apply online if you're:

  • 18 years or older
  • An Australian citizen or resident
  • Opening the account in your own name, or joint names for personal use.

Please have the following on hand:

  • If you're new to Bank of Sydney, an Australian driver's licence or Australian passport, your TFN and any relevant tax residency information
  • If you're an existing customer, you'll need to provide your Bank of Sydney account number, full name, date of birth and contact details
