  How to register for BOS Internet Banking

You can register for BOS Internet Banking at the branch or by calling us on 1300 BANKING (1300 226 546)

Once you register, we will send your username to your registered E-Mail and the temporary password to your mobile phone. Please note that registration may take up to 1 business day.

  How to change password
  1. Select “Settings” from the top right menu.
  2. Select “Change Password”.
  3. Follow the instruction.
  4. Please note that the password should be between 8 to 23 character with at least one numerical and one uppercase letter.
  How to change the Daily Limits
  1. Select “Settings” from the top right menu.
  2. Select “Daily Limits”.
  3. You can modify your daily limits for Domestic Payments, BPAY and International transfers.
  4. If you are selecting a daily limit higher than $10,000.00, you require to have a BOS mobile app to authorise transactions.
  5. Please send us a Secure Internet Banking Message if you require higher daily limits than your current maximum daily limit.

  How to change your contact details
  1. Select “Settings” from the top right menu.
  2. Select “Change my contact details”.
  3. You can modify your Home Phone and Email.
  4. If you require to change your mobile number please contact 1300 BANKING (1300 226 546)
  How to change your username
  1. Select “Settings” from the top right menu.
  2. Select “Change Username”.
  3. Enter your new username.
  4. Please note that the username should be at least 6 digit.
  How to transfer money (Domestic, BPAY, International)
  1. Select “Payments / Transfers” from the top right menu.
  2. You can select the payment type from the drop down menu.

  How to send a Secure Internet Banking Message
  1. Select the Letter icon from the top right corner
  2. Select “New Message”
  3. Select a relevant topic and enter your message.

  How to register your mobile device

      1. Login to the Bank of Sydney mobile app. Alternatively download the app here
      2. Click on the User Menu

      3. Select the "Manage my devices"

      4. Click on "Register current device"

      5. Ensure the "Push notification is activated

      6. Select the desire "Remember Me" method. Remember me allows you to login to the app using Numeric PIN, Finger Print or Face

      7. Create a numeric PIN (minimum 4 digit)
      8. Tap on "Submit"

      9. You will receive a Secure SMS code

      10. After entering the valid Secure SMS code, you will receive this message: "Device has been registered successfully"

      11. Once the device is registered all type of transactions can be authorise via mobile app without need of a SIM card (your phone must be connected to the Internet)
      12. To authorise any transactions both Mobile and Web, a Push Notification will be sent to your registered mobile

 
  Forgotten Username/Password
     1. On the BOS login page click on "Forgotten your Username or Password"
Please note if you do not have a Visa Debit card you will need to contact us on 1300 BANKING from Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

     2. Enter your full 16 digits card number and your card PIN and click on "Submit"

     3. You will receive a SMS code to your mobile which needs to be entered as below and then click "Submit"

     4. Now you will be redirected to create a new Password and repeat the new password

Please note your new password should not have been used in the past 12 months

Your login password is Case-Sensitive so please remember your password with the correct details.

  How to Modify your Card PIN
     1. Select the Visa Debit Card on the Internet Banking Home page

     2. Enter a new PIN and repeat the new PIN on the following section

Please note the new PIN should not be used previously for the same card.

     3. You will receive a SMS code to your Mobile which needs to be entered as below and then click "Continue"

     4. Your PIN has now been changed

  How to Activate your Visa Debit Card
     1. Select the Visa Debit Card on the Internet Banking Home page

     2. Click on the "Card Options" as below

     3. Select "Activate Card"

     4. Click on "Submit"

     5. You will receive a SMS code to your Mobile which needs to be entered as below and then click "Continue"

     6. Your card has now been activated and ready to use

  How to Report a Lost/Stolen Card
     1. Select the Visa Debit Card on the Internet Banking Home page

     2. Select Lost/Stolen Card

     3. Select a Reason from the drop-down Menu and Submit

     4. You will receive a SMS code to your Mobile which needs to be entered as below and then click "Continue"

     5. Once the request is completed, you cannot enable the card again

     6. To order a new card please contact your home branch or send us a secure mail via Internet Banking

  How to Enable a Blocked Card
     1. Select the Visa Debit Card on the Internet Banking Home page

     2. Select the "Enable Card" under the "Card Options"

     3. Select a reason from the drop-down menu and submit

     4. You will receive a SMS code to your Mobile which needs to be entered as below and then click "Continue"

     5. Your card is now active and ready to use

  How to Temporarily Block your Card
     1. Select the Visa Debit Card on the Internet Banking Home page

     2. Click on the "Card Options" as below

     3. Select the "Temporary Block" under the Card Options

     4. Select a "Reason" from the drop-down menu and submit

     5. You will receive a SMS code to your Mobile which needs to be entered as below and then submit

     6. Your card has now been blocked.

Please note you can enable your card at any time once the card is temporary blocked
