Bank@Post2

You can make deposits and withdraw cash from your Bank of Sydney Account using Australia Post’s handy Bank@Post service.

Local ATM and EFTPOS Machines

You can use your Bank of Sydney Visa Debit Card to withdraw cash and check your balance at most ATMs, as well as access cash-out services when making purchases at participating retailers and supermarkets. A physical card and PIN are required for these services. Please note that some third-party providers may charge a fee.

Use your Visa Debit Card

If you have a Bank of Sydney Visa Debit Card you can make secure electronic payments in place of cash, whether shopping in-store, paying bills, using your digital wallet or to make purchases online.

More customers are choosing to bank online or through alternative methods. As ATM and cash usage continues to decline, we are evolving our services to better reflect how our customers are choosing to bank.

Yes. Your Bank of Sydney Visa Debit Card will continue to work as normal. You can use it for EFTPOS purchases, online payments, and to withdraw cash from ATMs or use cash-out services when making purchases at many supermarkets and retailers.

No. This change only relates to Smart ATM services. There are no changes to how your account works, your card, or access to other banking services.

  • Bank@Post2: cash deposits and withdrawals can be made at participating Australia Post outlets using a Bank of Sydney Visa Debit Card. 
  • Visa Debit Card: You can make secure electronic payments in place of cash using your Visa Debit Card, whether shopping in-store, paying bills, using your digital wallet or to make purchases online.
