Bank of Sydney announces its partnership with the White Pearl Fundraiser  in aid of brain tumour research

Bank of Sydney has announced a new corporate partnership with the White Pearl Fundraiser in aid of Brain tumour research, supporting the Sydney Neuro-Oncology Group (SNOG). This partnership is part of the Bank’s wider commitment to support the community and charitable organisations.

“Bank of Sydney has an enviable story in Corporate Social Responsibility, defined by our culture and strong, direct community involvement. Our business successes in 2017 and healthy growth in profitability must be matched by a growing investment in our society.  I must thank the BOS team for powering both achievements – whether through hard work or through voluntary commitment” said Miltos Michaelas, CEO of Bank of Sydney.

The Sydney Neuro-Oncology Group (SNOG) is a charitable organisation that aims to improve the management of brain cancer and non-malignant tumours through targeted research, information sharing, constant scrutiny of treatment options and through education and ongoing support for patients and their families.

The White Pearl Fundraiser was established by Suzane Peponis-Brisimis specifically for the purpose of raising awareness and funds for the Sydney Neuro-Oncology Group (SNOG)’s brain cancer research program.

“We congratulate Suzane and her team for all the hard work they put into SNOG.  They have inspired Bank of Sydney to get involved, and we want to encourage the community and our customers to support this effort for the well-being of patients whose lives are affected by brain cancer and their families. We are proud of this partnership and we hope that we will help attract more funds and raise awareness for SNOG” concluded Mr. Michaelas.

The 3rd WHITE PEARL BALL will be held at Westin Sydney on November 11th.
