Bank of Sydney adopts the new Banking Code of Practice

Bank of Sydney is pleased to announce our commitment to the Australian Banking Association (ABA)’s new ASIC-approved Banking Code of Practice (the Code).

We have adopted the Code with enthusiasm as we work towards becoming Australia’s leading people-focused bank. Our mission is to build long-lasting relationships with our customers through our high-quality products, services and most importantly, our people, which aligns with the principles defined in the Code.

We have updated a number of our policies and procedures – such as delivering more support to small business clients, vulnerable customers and guarantors, and providing more open and transparent communication – to ensure customers make informed decisions. These changes support our goal of guaranteeing that all business decisions are based on the principles of responsibility, ethics and fairness.

Since subscribing to the 2013 voluntary Code, Bank of Sydney has been committed to providing the highest-quality service to our customers.
